Ajith is currently on a motorcycle trip across Europe and is expected to resume shooting for ‘AK 61’ after his return.
Manju Warrier has been roped in to play the female lead in the flick and will be paired opposite Ajith.
The latest buzz is that the release of the movie might be postponed.
It was earlier speculated that the movie might be released during Deepavali.
However, it is now said that the shooting for the movie will be wrapped up only by August.
So, the makers are planning to release the movie in December.
However, there is no official announcement about this development. The movie is directed by H Vinoth and is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.
Ghibran will be composing music for this flick.
