Action and adventure

Virundhu

– Review

Nikki Galrani finds her life spinning out of control when her father Mukesh is killed in a car accident and soon after  her mother too  dies in a similar accident.

When her life too is in danger, her dad’s close friend Baiju Santosh takes her to a safe place.

But when danger is still close on her heels, she finds refuge in the remotely located hillside home of a stranger Arjun Sarja.

Who is this stranger? Who is behind the deaths of her parents? Does Nikki discover the truth and get justice for her parents?

Director Kannan Thamarakkulam has delivered a fast, action thriller and has managed to keep the audience glued to the screen.

The film leads up to a gripping interval block and thereafter the story unravels as pieces of the puzzle are put together.

For Nikki Galrani it’s a different role and even action scenes in several places and the actor shines in a meaty role, with a credible performance.

Arjun Sarja is superb in his role and  as usual excels in the action blocks as well.

His presence adds value to the film and he keeps the suspense going all through.

Rest of the cast have also delivered what was expected from them.

The technical aspects of the movie including, BGM and cinematography are sound as well.

Rating: 3.7/5
