“Eleven” Movie Review by Naveen
Racy crime thriller
Eleven
– Review
Several suspicious deaths take place in the city and the body of the victims are burnt beyond recognition and placed in public places.
The police are not able to find the criminal as there are no clues left. The investigation officer in the case meets with an accident and is in coma.
Following this, the case is transferred to Naveen Chandra who finds a clue regarding the pattern of the murder and the murderer. Is Naveen Chandra able to solve the murder mystery with the clue? Who is the killer? What is the motive behind all the murders forms the core plot of the movie.
Director Lokkesh Ajls grabs the attention of the audience right from the word go. The way in which he builds the suspense about the murderer is very engaging.
He has organically introduced several twists and turns which will keep the audience on the edges of their seat. Though the screenplay is racy, the director has ensured that the audience are able to grasp the actual essence of the proceedings without having to rush through the scenes.
Naveen Chandra has done an appreciable job as the investigating officer. The way in which he investigates the case is really convincing and he has got into the skin of the character to play the role.
Be it the body language, dialogue delivery or the action sequences, Naveen Chandra shines in every aspect.
Abiraami who comes as the school headmaster has done her part well and helps in taking the movie forward.
Rest of the cast including Dileepan, rythvika, Reya Hari and Aadukalam Naren have all delivered what was expected from them.
D Imman shines as the music director. He has moved away from his usual genre of music and has delivered a background score which compliments the movie well.
Karthik Ashokan’s camerawork has captured the proceedings in an interesting manner, especially the sequences that take place during the night time. Rest of the technical aspects of the movie are good as well.
