Sanam Hotline, Hungama’s latest original show, is a comedy that revolves around three call centre executives who run an adult hotline and an unfortunate misadventure that gets them involved with an extortion racket turning their lives upside down.
Releasing simultaneously in Marathi and Hindi, the show is headlined by the superstars of Marathi entertainment industry, Pushkar Jog, Sai Lokur, Uday Nene and Vinay Yedekar. Sanam Hotline is produced by CaféMarathi Studios and directed by Akash Gursale.
Recently fired from their mundane jobs at a call centre, Ishaan (Pushkar Jog) and his friend Abhijeet (Uday Nene), decide to do something exciting with their lives and start an adult hotline. Called Sanam Hotline, the sole aim of this service is to fulfil its customers’ fantasies and desires telephonically. Shivani (Sai Lokur), their colleague and Ishaan’s love, joins their little start-up too. Together they tackle the assortment of customers, from those seeking companionship to those who just want quick fun; their tiny company begins to succeed. Until the day, some of their customers begin to get extortion calls. Then begins a roller-coaster ride that turns the trio’s lives into a comical mess. A kidnapping gone wrong, an extortion racket targeting Sanam Hotline’s customers and a Police Inspector who will not rest until he arrests Ishaan and Abhijeet, this hotline is certainly entertainment guaranteed!
