Vijay Deverakonda’s spy action thriller, ‘Kingdom’, has officially made its digital debut. The film is now available for streaming on Netflix, with its release coinciding with the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film, which also stars Satyadev and Bhagyashri Borse, follows the story of a constable-turned-spy on a perilous mission in Sri Lanka.

The film, which was released in theaters on July 31, has been made available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi (titled Saamrajya). The OTT release offers a chance for the movie to reach a wider, pan-Indian audience.

However, the OTT release has also brought with it a hint of disappointment for some fans.

Reports suggest that the streaming version does not include a romantic song, “Hridayam Lopala,” and an important carnival fight sequence that were reportedly shot for the film. While some fans are hoping the scenes will be released separately in the future, the edited version has left a section of the audience feeling let down.
