Venkatesh is in top form as his latest film, ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunnam’, has emerged as one of the biggest hits in the Telugu film industry, grossing over Rs 300 crore.
Speaking at the success meet, Venkatesh announced that he will return with the sequel to ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunnam’ in 2027, with a Pongal release planned.
Director Anil Ravipudi has hinted in multiple interviews that a sequel was always on the cards, as there is ample scope to continue the story.
Venkatesh’s surprise announcement at the event received thunderous applause from the audience.
Now, all eyes are on when the sequel will go on floors and who will join the cast.
