Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli and actor Mahesh Babu have embarked on a new schedule for their highly-anticipated collaboration, tentatively titled ‘SSMB29’.
While earlier reports suggested a schedule in South Africa, the team has reportedly commenced a new leg of shooting in Hyderabad.
The film, which is being mounted as a globe-trotting adventure, has already completed important sequences in Kenya and other locations.
The project, which also features Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a pivotal role, is rumored to be a jungle adventure inspired by the Indiana Jones series and African folklore.
The film’s title and first look are expected to be revealed in the coming months. With a rumored budget of up to Rs 1000 crore, ‘SSMB29’ is one of the most expensive Indian films in the pipeline, with an estimated release date in 2027.
