Actor Prakash Raj has rejected reports circulating online that alleged a non-bailable warrant had been issued against him in connection with multiple voter identity cards registered under his name.

The reports, which gained traction on social media over the weekend, claimed that a court in Bengaluru had issued a warrant after a complaint accused the actor of possessing more than one voter identification card. Some reports further alleged that warrants had previously been issued and that the actor had failed to appear before the court.

Responding to the claims, Prakash Raj took to social media to deny the allegations. Sharing screenshots of the reports, he mocked those spreading the information and suggested that fabricated stories were being circulated to target him.

In his post, the actor indicated that the reports were baseless and dismissed them as misinformation. The controversy comes amid recent public attention surrounding the Dharmasthala mass burial investigation. Prakash Raj’s name had surfaced in discussions related to the case after a petitioner mentioned him in court proceedings.

Addressing the matter earlier, the actor clarified that while he had received a phone call from an individual connected to the allegations, he had subsequently recorded the conversation and passed the material to investigators handling the case. He denied any direct involvement in the matter.
