The wait for Prabhas’s horror-comedy, ‘The Raja Saab’, appears to be getting longer.
Reports suggest that the film, which was originally scheduled for a December 5, 2025 release, has been delayed once again.
The new tentative release date is rumored to be in January 2026, during the Sankranti festival.
The delay is attributed to the extensive post-production work, particularly the visual effects, which are a crucial element of the film.
If the film does get a Sankranti release, it will face stiff competition at the box office, potentially clashing with Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ and Chiranjeevi’s ‘Mega 157’.
‘The Raja Saab’, directed by Maruthi, is a change of pace for Prabhas, who has been starring in action-heavy films recently, and also features Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, and Nidhhi Agerwal.
