Rumors are intensifying that Pooja Hegde is in talks to reunite with Allu Arjun for his highly anticipated collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, tentatively titled ‘AA23’ (or LK07).
If the deal materializes, it would mark a hat-trick for the successful pair, who previously delivered massive blockbusters with ‘DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’.
The project is being described as a high-scale, “proper pan-Indian” action entertainer with international appeal, featuring a Western-inspired setting and Lokesh’s signature stylistic elements, such as the silver kada seen in the early teaser.
The film, bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, will feature music by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his first full-length musical partnership with the National Award-winning actor.
Director Rathna Kumar, a frequent collaborator of Lokesh, has further heightened expectations by emphasizing the film’s global scope.
While Allu Arjun is currently occupied with Atlee’s ‘Raaka’ (co-starring Deepika Padukone), and Pooja Hegde prepares for the release of ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’, the potential of this combination has already sparked significant excitement across trade circles.
