Sobhita Dhulipala has made her official debut in the Telugu OTT space with the crime thriller ‘Cheekatilo’, which began streaming on Amazon Prime Video on January 23, 2026.
Directed by Sharan Koppishetty and produced by Suresh Babu, the film follows Sandhya (Sobhita), a journalist-turned-podcaster who investigates a series of mysterious murders that hit close to home.
Available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, the film has received praise for Sobhita’s nuanced performance as a woman haunted by unresolved truths, even as it maintains a slow-burn mystery that keeps the identity of the antagonist hidden until the final act.
