In a historic moment for Telugu cinema, Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK) was conferred with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD) 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam.
The award, presented by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, recognizes Balayya’s monumental 50-year journey in Indian cinema and his immense contribution to the arts.
During his acceptance speech, the veteran actor reflected on his father N.T. Rama Rao’s legacy and expressed deep gratitude to his fans, while also celebrating the recent National Award win for his film Bhagavanth Kesari.
