Rumours were rife that Jyothika will play Prabhas’s elder sister in ‘Salaar’. However, sources now say that Jyothika has denied the rumours and was not part of the film.
‘Salaar’ directed by Prashanth Neel will be shot directly in Telugu and Kannada. The movie will also release in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam simultaneously.
The makers are aiming to release the film on 14 April 2022. ‘Salaar’ has Shruti Haasan playing the female lead in the movie.
It may be noted that Jyothika was last seen in ‘Ponmagal Vandhal’.
