The promotional campaign for Jr NTR’s highly anticipated collaboration with director Prashanth Neel, officially titled ‘Dragon’, has rewritten cinematic history within a day of its debut.

The sprawling 4-minute-and-28-second “first glimpse” video, unleashed as a spectacular pre-birthday gift for the actor, has officially become India’s most-viewed movie glimpse inside a 24-hour window.

The massive digital reception has sent shockwaves through social media, with millions of fans across the globe tuning in to witness the dark, uncompromised world built by the KGF and Salaar filmmaker.

Set against a gritty, atmospheric 1967 period backdrop, the footage plunges viewers into a violent global drug war centered around the opium plantations of the infamous Golden Triangle.

Jr NTR plays a cold-blooded anti-hero named Luger, introduced as the ruthless Assassin-in-Chief of the Afghan Trading Company.

The teaser highlights his incredibly sharp dialogue delivery, anchored by the viral line: “God gave me a boon—the moment I pull the trigger, I forget everything.”

The glimpse concludes with a heavy reveal of Bollywood legend Anil Kapoor as Raghuveer Rathod, the Chief of India’s Narcotics Bureau, setting up a massive face-off.
