Allu Arjun, who was recently seen in ‘Pushpa 2’, will be collaborating with director Atlee.
The makers have announced that Deepika Padukone has joined the cast of the film.
The project is tentatively called AA22 and A6, and will be backed by the Sun Pictures banner, marking their first project working with a Telugu-based actor.
A new video shows Atlee narrating the script to Deepika Padukone with full vigour and energy, with the latter being in awe of the story.
Later, we see the duo at a VFX lab, where the body scans are being taken and we see a glimpse of what could be Deepika’s character.
With a mix of martial arts, and Atlee by her side, Deepika is shown to be riding a horse with a green screen. The film is expected to be a creature feature, with heavy VFX efforts.
While a release date for the film is yet to be announced, ‘AA22’ is expected to be made on a big budget and is speculated to have multiple female leads, including Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor.
