‘Vishwambhara’ marks the first-ever collaboration between Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Vassishta Mallidi, who made a decent debut with just one film, ‘Bimbisara’.
According to circulating reports, ‘Vishwambhara’ is eyeing a grand theatrical release on July 24, 2025, a date that holds special significance for Mega fans, as it marks the release anniversary of Chiranjeevi’s iconic industry hit Indra (2002). Will history repeat itself? Only time will tell.
The film features Trisha in the lead female role, alongside a strong supporting cast that includes Ashika Ranganath, Kunal Kapoor, Ramya Pasupaleti, Esha Chawla, and Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri. Backed by UV Creations, the film also boasts music by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravaani, adding to its grandeur.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has also greenlit two more major projects – one with Srikanth Odela and another with Anil Ravipudi.
The latter, touted to be a full-fledged entertainer, recently held its pooja ceremony.
The makers have officially announced its release for Sankranthi 2026, likely hitting screens on January 10, 2026.
