Chiranjeevi’s highly-anticipated social drama ‘Acharya’ directed by Koratala Siva has been postponed.
In view of the current pandemic situation, the makers felt that it is appropriate to push the release date further.
The makers have asked people to wear a mask at all times and stay safe by staying at home.
The team had earlier announced that ‘Acharya’ will be arriving on 13 May but it is not going to happen now.
The shooting is almost completed and post-production work was going on simultaneously as per reports.
According to reports, Chiranjeevi will be seen as a Naxalite who later becomes a man who becomes a protector of people in ‘Dharmasthali’ village.
Kajal Agarwal is the heroine in this film while Ram Charan will be playing a crucial role named Siddha. Pooja Hegde will be seen romancing Charan in this film produced by Matinee Entertainments and Konidela Production company. Mani Sharma is composing music for the movie.
