The team of upcoming romantic entertainer ‘Chennai Love Story’ hosted a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad recently, with Megastar Chiranjeevi attending as the chief guest. The film has been generating considerable attention ahead of its release, thanks to its popular songs and well-received trailer.
During the event, Chiranjeevi delivered an emotional speech, expressing his affection for the team and recalling his early days in Chennai. He said the film’s title immediately reminded him of the city where his acting career began.
Reflecting on his journey, the veteran actor said Chennai was the place where he first dreamed of becoming an actor. He recalled walking through the city’s streets in search of opportunities before eventually finding success in the film industry, adding that the city continues to hold a special place in his heart.
Chiranjeevi explained that he accepted the invitation not merely as a guest but because he wanted to encourage a team of young filmmakers who have always shown him immense admiration. He specifically mentioned producers SKN and Sai Rajesh, music director Mani Sharma and lead actor Kiran Abbavaram, saying their affection motivated him to be part of the celebration.
He added that he wanted to experience the warmth and positive energy of the gathering rather than simply offering formal wishes for the film’s success.
Speaking about his fans, Chiranjeevi said their personal achievements give him more happiness than anything else. He noted that seeing them succeed in their careers, make their families proud and contribute positively to society is the greatest reward he could ask for.
The actor also praised producer SKN for his journey from journalism and public relations to becoming a successful producer. He appreciated filmmaker Sai Rajesh for earning recognition through his work and bringing laurels by winning National Awards.
Turning his attention to Kiran Abbavaram, Chiranjeevi described the actor as someone who represents the aspirations of middle-class youngsters. He said Kiran transformed his dream of becoming an actor into reality through determination and hard work, inspiring many newcomers along the way.
Expressing confidence in the film, Chiranjeevi said ‘Chennai Love Story’ could become another significant milestone in Kiran Abbavaram’s career. He also complimented leading lady Sri Gouri Priya, saying she is a talented Telugu actress who is steadily building a strong presence in both the Telugu and Tamil film industries.
