The team behind director Sampath Nandi’s upcoming period action drama ‘Bhogi’ has completed another demanding shooting schedule.

The filmmaker announced the development on social media, expressing his appreciation for lead actor Sharwanand and the crew involved in the latest phase of production. He indicated that the film’s scale and intensity continue to grow as filming progresses.

The latest schedule comes shortly after the completion of the movie’s major climax sequence. The climax was filmed over 22 consecutive days and was mounted on an elaborate set designed by production designer Kiran Kumar Manne.

The sequence reportedly required several months of planning before cameras began rolling. More than 800 junior artistes were involved in the large-scale shoot, making it one of the production’s most extensive schedules.

Action director Dhilip Subbarayan has handled the stunt choreography, with the makers promising ambitious action sequences designed for a theatrical setting. Cinematographer Kishore Kumar is part of the technical team.

Sharwanand plays a character named Ganga and is expected to undergo a significant physical and visual transformation for the role. Reports indicate that the actor spent several hours each day undergoing makeup for the character, with additional time required to remove the elaborate look after filming.

With another schedule now complete, the Bhogi team is continuing production on the film, which is being presented as a large-scale action drama featuring Sharwanand in a prominent role.
