Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda 2’ finalises streaming platform

The highly awaited sequel ‘Akhanda 2’, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Boyapati Sreenu, has secured a major OTT deal.

Reports suggest that Jio Hotstar is the frontrunner to acquire the post-theatrical streaming rights.

The move is not surprising as the first installment of the successful franchise is also available on the same platform.

The action-packed film, which is currently slated for a theatrical release on September 25th, has generated significant buzz, and the digital rights deal is expected to fetch a record-breaking sum.
