The popular cinematic franchise starring Nandamuri Balakrishna has officially confirmed the title for its third installment: ‘Jai Akhanda’. The title was revealed at the climax of the recently released sequel, ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’.
The ending of ‘Akhanda 2’ hints that the powerful Aghora character, Akhanda, has returned to his secluded life in the Himalayas (Sambhala) but will inevitably return to save the nation when a major crisis threatens dharma and the country’s core values.
The producers are yet to confirm if director Boyapati Sreenu has begun writing the script for the third part, but the franchise continuation has been strongly confirmed.
This news, following the massive opening day collections for ‘Akhanda 2’, has thrilled the star’s fans, who are celebrating the prospect of another ‘Mass Jathara’ (mass festival).
