After a period of suspense caused by a last-minute postponement due to legal and financial hurdles, the highly-awaited sequel, ‘Akhanda 2: Thaandavam’, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, has locked in a new release date.
The makers have officially announced that the film will now hit theaters worldwide on December 12, 2025, with grand premiere shows scheduled to begin on the evening of December 11.
The delay, which was attributed to a Madras High Court injunction over a financial dispute with Eros International, has reportedly been resolved, allowing the Boyapati Srinu directorial to keep its crucial December slot, where it will face minimal competition and look to repeat the massive box office success of its 2021 predecessor.
