The release schedule for the much-anticipated Telugu-Hindi bilingual romantic action drama, ‘Dacoit’, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, has been changed.
The film, initially slated for a grand Christmas release on December 25, 2025, has been postponed.
The change in plans is reportedly due to the recovery of lead actor Adivi Sesh from a recent leg injury. The makers confirmed that a major, high-intensity action sequence is yet to be filmed, which requires the actor to be in peak physical condition.
In the interest of Sesh’s safety and the film’s quality, the team has decided to delay the release until he is fully fit to perform the demanding scene.
‘Dacoit’, which also marks the Tollywood debut of Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, is directed by Shaniel Deo. An official announcement regarding the new release date is expected shortly.
