‘Boat’ starring Yogi Babu in the lead role, has hit the screens a clean U certificate. The film is directed by Chimbudevan.
The film has a runtime of two hours and 5 minutes. ‘Boat’ is set during the pre-Independence era and revolves around a group of people who get stranded on a boat in the middle of the sea, as the Japanese bomb the nation.
With each character coming from different walks of life, and minimal stock to survive, a drama ensues between them, amid the many life dangers they have to face. The film is said to be based on true incidents. Yogi Babu plays the man who rows the boat.
Besides Yogi Babu, the film also stars actors Gouri Kishan, M S Bhaskar, Chinni Jayanth, Madhumitha, Sha Ra, Chaaams, and others in pivotal roles.
The technical crew consists of Madhesh Manickam as the cinematographer and Dinesh Ponraj handling the edits. Ghibran has scored the music for the film.
