Superstar Rajinikanth, affectionately known as Thalaivar, is celebrating his 75th birthday today, December 12th, with an outpouring of wishes from fans, celebrities, and political figures worldwide. The celebration is particularly special as it marks a major milestone in his illustrious career.
To mark the occasion, the actor announced a massive surprise for his fans: a sequel to his 1999 classic, ‘Padayappa’.
The sequel is tentatively titled ‘Neelambari: Padayappa 2’.
In a special video, Rajinikanth confirmed that discussions are underway for the story, adding, “If the story shapes up well, just like Padayappa, there will be a powerful Neelambari again.”
Furthermore, the 1999 blockbuster ‘Padayappa’ is re-releasing in cinemas today as part of the birthday celebration.
