Vijay Sethupathi has his kitty full with a handful of projects which also includes ‘Train’ directed by Mysskin, a new film by Puri Jagannathan, and the web series ‘Kakka Muttai’ directed by Manikandan.
Now, the latest buzz is that the actor will be teaming up with director Nithilan Saminathan for ‘Maharaja 2’.
Reports said that the pre-production works are underway and the official confirmation of the project is expected to be made soon.
‘Maharaja’ was one of last year’s biggest blockbusters, grossing an impressive Rs190 crores worldwide on a modest budget of Rs 20 crores.
The film not only dominated the Indian box office but also made a strong mark overseas, including in China.
