It was recently reported that veteran filmmaker-actor Bharathiraja had opted out of director Vettrimaran’s ‘Thunaivan’ which has Soori playing the lead role.
Bharathiraja was not able to fulfil his committment due to the cold weather in the Sathyamangalam forest, sources said.
It was later said that actor Kishore will replace Bharathiraja in the movie. However, the latest buzz is that Vettrimaran is planning to rope in Vijay Sethupathi to play the all important character in the movie.
It may be noted that Vijay Sethupathi was supposed to play Rajan’s character in Vettrimaran’s Vada Chennai. However, VJS had to opt of the movie due to call sheet issues and he was replaced by Ameer.
