Vijay Sethupathi is quite upbeat about landing an opportunity to work with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Describing him as a “humble person,” Vijay Sethupathi said he didn’t have to think twice when director Atlee offered him to the film to share the screen space with SRK.
“Yes, I do, It is the antagonist’s role. I’ve known Atlee for a long time. But, I’ve never worked with him until now. When he offered me Jawan I immediately said yes to working with Shah Rukh Khan. He’s such a down-to-earth, humble and helpful actor. No attitude at all. Always friendly and helpful,” Vijay Sethupathi said.
Vijay Sethupathi said he got to learn a lot from working with SRK and he also confirmed that he’s playing the main antagonist in the movie.
‘Jawan’ is director Atlee’s debut in Hindi. However, it will also be released in Tamil and Telugu. Besides Shah Rukh Khan and Sethupathi, the movie also stars Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra among others.
‘Jawan’ was earlier due in cinemas in June. But, the producers postponed the release to September 7 citing production reasons.
