The star-studded film ‘Arasan,’ the latest venture from the acclaimed director Vetri Maaran and featuring Simbu aka Silambarasan, has received a monumental injection of talent with the official inclusion of actor Vijay Sethupathi in a pivotal role.
The news, announced by producer Kalaippuli S. Thanu, has sent waves of excitement across the industry.
The makers shared the update with the powerful quote: “Humanity unites, greatness is seen.”
‘Arasan’ is set within the same cinematic universe as Vetri Maaran’s 2018 gangster epic Vada Chennai, though it is not a direct sequel.
The film now brings together the “perfect trio” of Vetri Maaran, STR, and Vijay Sethupathi, marking Sethupathi’s consecutive collaboration with the director after the ‘Viduthalai’ films.
The film is currently in pre-production/early stages of filming, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
