As soon as Lyca Productions postponed the release of ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ without disclosing the reasons, several medium and small-budget films took up the festive window.
Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen’s romantic drama ‘Kadhalikka Neramillai’, Shane Nigam’s Tamil debut ‘Madraskaaran’, Mirchi Shiva-starrer ‘Sumo’, Sibi Satyaraj’s ’10 Hours’, Arun Vijay’s ‘Vanangaan’ (which was already scheduled for Pongal), Aditi Shankar and Akash Murali’s ‘Nesipayya’, and ‘Tharunam’ will release for the festive season.
While ‘Kadhalikka Neramillai’ and ‘Nesipayya’ are releasing on January 14, ‘Madraskaaran’, and ‘Vanangaan’, will be released on January 10.
Along with this, Ram Charan-starrer ‘Game Changer’ directed by Shankar will also release on January 10.
The film is expected to have a good market in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi belts.
