If one is to go by reports from Tollywood, the release of ‘Varisudu’, the Telugu version of Vijay’s ‘Varisu’, will be little delayed from its original scheduled date of January 12.
This is due to less availability of screens in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana because of the big ticket release of Chiranjeevi’s ‘Walter Veeraiyya’ and Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ for Sankaranti.
However, an official announcement about the decision to delay the release of ‘Varisudu’ is yet to be made.
‘Varisu’ bankrolled by Tollywood’s leading producer Dil Raju has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The film is directed by Vamsi Paidipally.
‘Varisu’ features a strong star cast that includes many popular faces including Khushbu Sundar and Sarathkumar.
