Karthi-starrer ‘Sulthan’ directed by Bakkiaraj Kannan of ‘Remo’ fame was progressing at a brisk pace when the Covid-19 induced lockdown halted the works.
Responding to fans who had been asking for some updates on the film, its producer S R Prabhu posted, “#Sulthan 90% shoot & Major edit are over. Looking at the possibilities to finish the balance works beside #COVID19.”
He added: “This will be one of the biggest production & a complete entertainer from @DreamWarriorpic. As you all know.. no plans on the release yet! @Bakkiyaraj_k.#JaiSulthan.”
In an earlier tweet, Prabhu said, “#CoronaOutbreak is delaying everything including #Sulthan Update! Let’s keep calm and be safe!!” The film, tipped to be a ‘complete entertainer’ will mark Kannada and Telugu star Rashmika Mandanna’s debut in Tamil.
