Director Abishan Jeevinth, who rose to fame with the critically acclaimed film ‘Tourist Family’, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Akhila Ilangovan, in a beautiful ceremony in Chennai.
The wedding took place at the Hanu Reddy Boathouse Garden amidst family and close friends.
A grand reception was held a day earlier, attended by notable personalities from the Tamil film industry, including actors Sasikumar, Sivakarthikeyan, and Simran, as well as producers Soundarya Rajinikanth and Rajasekar Karpurasundarapandian.
It is a well-known fact that the director had publicly proposed to Akhila at the ‘Tourist Family’ pre-release event in April, thanking her for her immense patience and support throughout his journey to achieve his directorial dream.
Abishan is now set to make his full-fledged debut as an actor in an upcoming film, the streaming rights for which have already been bagged by Netflix.
