TN imposes new restrictions from 10 th April

Following the increase in the number of coronavirus infections, Tamil Nadu government has imposed new restrictions.
According to the new guidelines, festivals and religious gatherings will be barred from 10 April.

“Vegetables shops cannot function in Koyambedu market complex. In MTC buses, standing passengers won’t be allowed. Only 50 per cent customers will be allowed in shopping malls, showrooms, big jewellery and textile showrooms, recreating clubs, entertainment and amusement parks, cinema theaters in multiplex and shopping malls. Only 100 persons will be allowed to attend wedding functions and funeral processions. Sports events can take place without spectators,: the gudielines stated.

It further said that exhibition halls will be allowed only for Business to Business process. “In all places of worship, devotees will be allowed till 8pm, but no permission for festivals and religious gatherings. Shooting for small screen and films will be allowed and the members should get tested. E pass system will continue for those coming from other states,” the statement added.
