With Covid cases growing in unprecedented manner, the Tamil Nadu government has imposed fresh restrictions from 26 April early morning.
According to an official release, the fresh curbs, which included closure of all recreation clubs, bars, auditoriums, meeting halls and places were people congregate in large numbers, is being enforced to prevent spread of the pandemic.
It added all big format shops, cinema halls, shopping complexes and malls will be closed, while vegetable and grocery shops and other shops will be allowed to function as usual.
As per the restrictions, e-registration at http://eregister.tnea.org will be mandatory to enter Tamil Nadu from abroad and other States except from Puducherry. The following restrictions will be in place:
