Suriya recently announced that he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus and added that he was undergoing treatment for the same in Chennai.
The latest update is- Suriya’s brother Karthi has said that the ‘Singam’ actor has returned home and will be quarantined for a few days.
Karthi tweeted “Anna is back home and all safe! Will be in home quarantine for a few days. Can’t thank you all enough for the prayers and best wishes!”.
Suriya, in a tweet, announced that he had contracted the novel coronavirus. Soon, his tweet went viral with wishes from several thousands of fans and Kollywood celebrities.
Suriya was supposed to start working on his upcoming film with director Pandiraj this month. The shooting of this untitled film might be postponed as Suriya has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead.
