With Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling for Janta Curfew on March 22 as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the deadly Coronavirus, actor-politician Kamal Haasan has urged his fellow actors to join the movement.
In a tweet, the founder of Makkal Needhi Maiam said, “I stand in full solidarity with our Prime Minister’s call for #JantaCurfew. In this extraordinary situation, we have to take extraordinary measures.”
He said further: “It’s a disaster that has befallen on us and by staying united and indoors, we can Stay Safe. In his television address to the nation on Thursday night, the Prime Minister had appealed to the citizens of India to observe the Janta Curfew on March 22 from 7 am to 9 pm.
