Actress Trisha Krishnan has issued a sharp response following a controversial remark made by veteran actor-director R. Parthiban.
During a recent awards event, when Trisha’s photo appeared on screen, Parthiban made a pun on her character from Ponniyin Selvan, suggesting that this “Kundavai” should be “kept at home” because her public appearances were “creating a lot of issues.”
Taking to her social media, Trisha shared a pointed statement: “A microphone doesn’t make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder.”
She further added that crude words reflect more on the speaker’s character than the target.
This rebuttal comes amidst heightened scrutiny of her personal life following a viral video with actor-politician Vijay at a recent wedding reception.
