Simbu aka STR’s Eswaran is in trouble as the Animal Welfare Board has asked the makers not to share the posters and teaser of the movie.
The board has asked the makers to clarify about the usage of a snake without prior permission. The notice was issued after a video of Simbu playing with a King Cobra for the film went viral on social media.
The makers had earlier clarified that it was a plastic snake and VFX work would be done during the post production.
Meanwhile, director Venkat Prabhu has said that the first look poster of his upcoming movie Maanadu starring Simbu will be released on 21 November.
In a recent interview, Suseenthiran said that Silambarasan plays Bharathiraja’s adopted son in Eeswaran.
“Silambarasan TR’s character is someone who takes care of VIPs in Lord Murga Temple, Palani. How he takes care of Bharathiraja and fulfils his wishes forms the crux of the story,” said Suseenthiran.
The filmmaker further said that the last forty-five minutes will be racier like his earlier movies ‘Pandiya Naadu’ and ‘Naan Mahan Alla’. “Silambarasn’s flashback portions will be enjoyed by his fans”, he added.
