The shoot of Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor, which came to a halt due to the Covid-19 induced lockdown, has resumed in Chennai.
However, Ajith has not joined the sets and he is expected to do it soon. Meanwhile, Telugu actor Karthikeya who recently celebrated his birthday assured the fans that soon there will be updates from the ‘Valimai’ team, and he asked them to be patient.
It was recently said that Ajith, Vinoth and Boney Kapoor had decided to restart the shoot soon and to complete it by February 2021. “After that, the team will take two more months for post-production and promotion and the movie would hit the screens on May 1 for Ajith’s birthday,” sources said.
Ajith is said to be playing a police story in this film, which is being tipped as an adrenaline pumping action entertainer loaded with pulsating stunt sequences. Music for ‘Valimai’ is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
