Riding high on the success of ‘Mookuthi Amman’, RJ Balaji has begun work for his next project.
The actor will be playing the lead role in the Tamil remake of Bollywood flick ‘Badhaai ho’.
The movie will be directed by Balaji along with N J Saravanan who was also the codirector in ‘Mookuthi Amman’.
Sources said that Balaji is currently working on the project and is making a few changes in the story to suit the Kollywood audience.
It is said that the formal announcement regarding the project is expected to be made in the coming days. ‘Badhaai Ho’, which released in 2018, was directed by Amit Ravindrenath Sharma, and told the story of an older couple getting pregnant and how their 20-something son learns to accept the fact.
