Vijay Antony had recently announced a new film titled ‘Lawyer’. Touted to be a courtroom drama, the film is directed by Joshua Sethuraman.
The film marks the director’s second venture after this year’s film ‘Gentlewoman’ featuring Lijomol Jose and Losliya.
The makers of the film have announced that Hindi actor Raveena Tandon will be starring in an important role in the upcoming film. ‘Lawyer’ will release in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada as well.
Raveena Tandon will be playing an important role, while unveiling her character poster. With some grey hairs and clad in advocate’s cloak, Raveena is expected to play a lawyer.
It is produced by Vijay Antony’s home banner Vijay Antony Film Corporation. A release date is yet to be announced.
The film marks Raveena’s comeback to Tamil cinema after 24 years. She was last seen in the 2001 Kamal Haasan-starrer ‘Aalavandhan’. Besides this film, the actor has only one Tamil movie to her credit, ‘Saadhu’.
