‘Jailer’, starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role, released a year back in theatres to roaring response.
Director Nelson Dilipkumar marked his first collaboration with Rajinikanth through ‘Jailer’.
To celebrate one year anniversary of the film, the makers released a three-part series titled ‘Jailer Unlocked’, which shares the origin and making of the action drama. It is available on SunNXT and additionally on OTTplay Premium.
In the series, which spans for about half hour each, will feature segments of various technicians and actors’ part of the project, talking about their experience working in the film.
‘Jailer Unlocked’ shows how creative decisions were made for the film, and unknown facts about ‘Jailer’ which showed Rajinikanth in a different action avatar.
The film revolves around a retired jailer who has to go against a deadly gangster who has kidnapped his son.
The film features a star cast, including Ramya Krishnan, Vinayak, Vasanth Ravi, Mirnaa Menon, Yogi Babu and others, with Mohanlal, Shivrajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sunil, and others making cameo appearances.
