Cricketer Kapil Dev had shared a picture on his Instagram page which had him posing for a photo along with Rajinikanth.
The former Indian cricket skipper said that it was his “honour and privilege to be with the great man”.
Fans of the two icons were elated to see them together.
Following this Rajinikanth took to his Twitter page to say that he was equally honoured to spend time with Kapil.
He addressed him as the “most respected and wonderful human being” and reminisced his contribution in making India proud by helping the team win cricket World Cup for the first time.
Rajinikanth also posted the hashtag #LalSalaam in the tweet hinting at the cricketer playing a cameo in the movie which is being helmed by his daughter Aishwarya.
The shooting of the film bankrolled by Lyca Productions is happening in Mumbai.
It was only a few days ago that Rajinikanth’s look and character name from ‘Lal Salaam’ was revealed by makers. He plays Moideen Bhai in the project which stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth essaying lead roles.
