Rajinikanth honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at IFFI, delivers emotional speech 

Superstar Rajinikanth, has added another monumental feather to his cap. 

The iconic actor was conferred with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. 

This recognition celebrates his unparalleled contribution to Indian cinema over five decades, establishing him as one of the most influential and beloved figures globally. 

The honor is a tribute to his unique style, charisma, and the incredible body of work that continues to inspire millions.

This award is one of the highest honors given to a film personality in India and is a recognition of not just box office success, but artistic and cultural impact. 

Rajinikanth’s films have influenced generations of filmmakers and actors, making him a true legend. His acceptance speech was reportedly filled with humility and thanks to his fans, who he often credits for his success.

The award ceremony was attended by many dignitaries and film celebrities, all of whom gave the Superstar a standing ovation. 

Rajinikanth dedicated the award and recognition to the cinema industry and the Tamil people.

“If I look back, it seems like I’ve just been acting for around for 10 to 15 years and that’s because I love cinema and acting. Even if I were to have 100 janmam (births), I would like to be born as an actor, as Rajinikanth. Thank you for love and affection,” he said, adding, “All this honour goes to Cinema Industry people and mainly Ennai Vaazhaveikum Dheivangalana Tamil Makkal.”
