Priyamani’s Tamil courtroom thriller, ‘The Good Wife’, is all set for its OTT release.
The series will premiere on Jio Hotstar on 4 July 2025 and will be available in Tamil, Telugu and other Indian languages.
The series is an official adaptation of the popular American legal drama of the same name. Priyamani stars as a woman who is forced to return to her legal career after her husband’s public scandal rocks their family.
The story centers around Priyamani’s character, whose seemingly perfect life with her high-profile husband is shattered when a scandalous video involving him goes viral. This incident throws their 16-year marriage into chaos and brings immense public scrutiny and humiliation upon the family.
To reclaim her life and protect her children and family’s reputation, she decides to return to her long-abandoned profession as a lawyer.
Directed by actress-filmmaker Revathy, the show also features Sampath Raj and Aari Arjunan in key roles.
