The title of Raghava Lawrence’s upcoming flick ‘Rudhran’ was released on the actor’s birthday. Now it has been officially announced that Priya Bhavani Shankar has been roped into play the female lead in the movie.
Music for the movie is by G V Prakash. The movie is bankrolled by Five star Kathiresan, who might also direct it. Shooting for the movie is expected to commence from Pongal.
Meanwhile, Priya Bhavani Shankar has been roped in for ‘Pathu Thala’ as well. The film features Simbu and Gautham Karthik in lead roles and it is a remake of Kannada movie ‘Mufti’.
According to Krishna, who is helming the project, “Priya plays a Tahsildar in the film — a bold character. I needed a Tamil face, who could speak the language well and Priya was the perfect fit.”
