Former Indian fast bowler Javagal Srinath has revealed that superstar Rajinikanth is one of his favourite actors. In a chat with R Ashwin, the cricketer also spilled the beans on his meeting with Rajinikanth during his playing days.
“I have met him a couple of times. Once I met him at the airport and he even offered to drop me home. It was so nice of him to say that at the Bangalore airport,” Srinath said.
Heaping laurels on Rajini, he said, “He bring tremendous energy into your life. I mean, even if you are depressed, go and watch Rajinikanth movie. His screen presense, that little extra bit that he brings into the movie. All of that makes me truly love him.”
Srinath added: “When you don’t have a good day or going through a lean patch, just go an watch a Rajinikanth movie. You will come charged out of it.” On the work front, Rajini is currently busy with ‘Annaatthe’ directed by Siva and produced by Sun Pictures. The film has Nayanthara as female lead.
