Simbu aka STR who stormed the social media with his physical transformation started shooting for Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Maanadu’ in Pondicherry recently.
Sources now say that the schedule in Puducherry is over and the team has returned to Chennai. The next schedule is expected to happen in the city itself.
‘Maanaadu’ directed by Venkat Prabhu is a political thriller and is produced by Suresh Kamachi with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The ensemble star cast comprises of Simbu, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Bharathiraja, S.A. Chandrasekhar, S.J. Suryah, Karunakaran, Udhayaa, Manoj K Bharathi, Aravind Akash and Premgi Amaran.
It was recemtly said that the duo of STR and Venkat Prabhu will come together for another flick. The movie has been tentatively titled as ‘Mental’ and is expected to commence as soon as ‘Maanadu’ shooting is over.
