Following the footsteps of his elder brother Suriya, actor Karthi has deposited Rs 5,000 to more than 200 members of his fans club.
Suriya had earlier deposited Rs 5,000 to more than 250 members of his fans club. Sources said that the actors handpicked their fans who are financially struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The gesture has won the hearts of many. It may be noted that the actors have already donated Rs one crore to the Tamilnadu Chief Minister’s Corona Relief Fund.
On the workfront Suriya has ‘Suriya 40’ directed by Pandiraj, ‘Vaadi Vasal’ with Vetrimaran and the anthology ‘Navarasa’ directed by Gautham Menon. Karthi is part of ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ and ‘Sardar’.
